Interior Design deals with both the architecture and design of the interior of the home.  This can sometimes bleed into the exterior of the home when additions are desired, but the interior architectural design of the home is the primary focus.  While an Architect might design an entire building, an Interior Designer deals primarily with the walls, windows, layout, space planning, etc of the home.  Interior Decorators do just that; they decorate.  There is certainly an element of space planning to the home, but this is mostly furniture, accessories, paint; more aesthetic upgrade versus permanent and/or structural improvements to the space.

I enjoy both aspects of design; space planning an interior and modifying existing structures as well as decorating a home.  I love taking older homes and spaces and turning them into my client’s dream space.  I look forward to hearing your style and vision and bringing it to fruition in your desired space!
